Look out the class of 2036 is on its way! Kindergarten Round-up has been scheduled for North Elementary for our newest future Vikings. Students and families have the opportunity to tour the school, meet school staff and turn in required paperwork.

The MSD of North Posey County has scheduled Preschool Screening Clinics which will be offered to children ages 3, 4 and 5 at no cost to parents or guardians to assess developmental and speech or language skills. Screenings are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, the NPSS office can be reached via phone at: (812) 575-0974.

Reminder: MSD of North Posey County Schools will be out of session from Wednesday, November 23 through Friday, November 25. All schools and offices will be closed during this time. We wish all students and staff a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving break!
MSD of North Posey County was notified today that the German Township Water Department will be performing maintenance on Monday, November 7th which requires the water to NP High School and Junior High to be turned off. Therefore, the NP High School AND Junior High will be synchronous for Monday's instruction. This is different from typical e-learning days. Teachers will be going live for each classes' instruction. Teachers will be taking attendance when they go live each class period. Students must be checking their emails from each of their teachers along with administration emails from building principals. Students need to be logged on and ready to learn at their normal start time. North Elementary and South Terrace will be in session as normal.
E-Learning will be Thursday, October 27th. Your child's classroom teacher will communicate with you and your child regarding assignments. If you have any questions, please contact the classroom teacher. Students will be completing work virtually. Do not report to the school building on Thursday, October 27th.

-It is $2 per race for your child to run. Please be sure to pay on the day of the race. Ribbons will be handed out to each child accordingly.
-Shirts are also available for purchase for $10.
-Junior high and high school cross country teams will be there to help lead stretches, sell shirts, and make sure kids stay on the course.

North Elementary will be having their annual Open House on August 4th from 5-7pm. See your classroom, drop off supplies, and many more activities including a PTO photo opportunity! We can't wait to see everyone.
